F. Barkow Inc of Milwaukee announced today that it has formed a relationship with Sopp Ford Truck Center of Los Angeles that is designed to offer greater availability and service in Southern California for all F. Barkow glass carrier products.

"This is something completely new for us," explained Carol Clinkenbeard, marketing manager for F. Barkow. "We've used distributors and other means but not this type of relationship. Sopp will supply the trucks and we'll supply the racks."

The new partnership will debut at Glass Expo West '05, April 1-2, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. Booth #201 will feature a Ford E350 van, with a Barkow 610HA glass carrier on the driver's side, a 607HA glass carrier on the passenger side, and a 102SS stainless steel ladder rack. The van and glass carriers will be offered at a discounted show package price, to be announced soon on the F. Barkow website (www.barkow.com).

Clinkenbeard said that with Barkow and Sopp joining forces, glaziers in the Los Angeles area will have the combined resources of two established companies, each dedicated to providing the best products and service available.

"Their combined 209 years in business is unmatched in the glass industry," she said.
