I.G. Earns Two G06 Awards
On Friday, September 15, as Edgetech made final preparations for
its showing at GlassBuild North America, the company found another
reason to celebrate. That evening, Edgetech in the United Kingdom
was awarded two G06 awards at a special dinner and awards ceremony.
Andy Jones, sales director and general manager for Edgetech UK,
accepted the Specialist of the Year and Energy Efficiency Initiative
of the Year awards on behalf of the company.

The G06 Awards are held annually and are designed to recognize individual

attracted 223 delegates from across the fenestration industry. "It's
all part of a wider initiative," added Jones. "There's
never been a better time for warm edge technology."
The Energy Initiative of the Year is awarded to companies of any
size that are proactively working toward a higher standard of energy
efficiency. The Specialist of the Year Award is given to companies
that offer a niche product to the industry that is not necessarily
covered under the other categories.
Other G06 categories include Fabricator of the Year, Installer
of the Year, Glass Company of the Year, Conservatory Installer of
the Year, Training and Development Award, Customer Care Award, Health
and Safety Award, Promotional Campaign Award, Glass Project of the
Year and Social Housing Project of the Year.
