Edgetech I.G. Inc. Names Brian Kress Director of Quality

Edgetech I.G. Inc. has promoted Brian Kress to director of quality. Kress is responsible for developing and implementing Edgetech's quality assurance strategies, programs, policies, and procedures to ensure Edgetech's products are in compliance with worldwide standards. Kress will focus on Edgetech's operational systems to ensure they are in compliance with ISO and World-Class Quality standards. Mike Hovan, President of Edgetech, made the announcement.

Prior to the promotion, Kress served as from research and development manager. He began his career with Edgetech's sister company, Lauren Manufacturing, in 1992, and was part of the team leading the full-service extruder and molder of organic, silicone and specialty polymer products toward successful QS-9000 (ISO 9001) certification by 1996.

Kress is an active member of National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) and the United Kingdom's Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF).
