Syracuse Glass Co., a 96-year old manufacturer of tempered and insulating glass,
all-glass entrances, shower enclosures, aluminum doors and curtainwalls sold in
the Upstate New York area, has announced that John Dwyer has been promoted as
president of the company.
Dwyer has been with the company for 20 years, and has a bachelors degree from
LeMoyne College and a masters degree from Boston College.
He is a member of the Construction Specifications Institute and served previously
as the president of the Glass Association of North America and the New York State
Glass Association.
"I am proud to learn of John's promotion to president," said Stanley
Smith, executive vice president of GANA. "His leadership during his tenure
as president of the Glass Association of North America was truly outstanding.
