Dow Corning® Launches Quality Bond to Boost Creative
Glazing with Silicones
Dow Corning has launched a landmark initiative for the structural glazing and
insulating glass market.
Called Quality Bond™, the program will bring together real
estate owners and investors, architects, façade consultants
and engineers, system suppliers and applicators in sharing Dow Corning's
extensive know-how in structural glazing and other silicone-based
bonding applications.
The initiative is to be deployed in Europe, the Middle East and
Africa and reinforces Dow Corning's commitment toward instilling
higher quality standards, while demonstrating Dow Corning's dedication
to the Construction industry as a whole.

in energy efficiency and transparency are fueling demand for advanced
structural glazing solutions across the globe. Quality Bond™
will ensure that the very best in terms of performance, safety,
and durability is achieved by all participants in structural glazing

According to the company, Quality Bond participants will benefit
from Dow Corning's active support in implementing strict quality
control and quality assurance regimes, testing and extended project
warranties. Quality Bond will also enhance knowledge transfer by
linking partners throughout the value chain, providing architects
and consultants with early-phase planning and project support.
Quality Bond participation is open to all. Dow Corning will provide
members with referrals to other Quality Bond™ participants
on request, bolstering their business-to-business marketing and
networking efforts.
