Dlubak Corp. has announced that it has been awarded a $250K contract for the
development, testing and delivery of commercialized RF/IR Attenuating
Window Glazing Systems from the U.S. Department of State.
Dlubak has teamed with ASTIC Signals Defenses of Baltimore, Md.
and CPFilms of Martinsville, Va., to integrate their SD2500 technology
as laminated glass, further enhancing security for U.S. State Department
locations world-wide. SD's patented technology is the highest performing
RF/IR attenuating optically clear substrate available today.
Dlubak will be the exclusive laminator of the newly developed SD
Glass, which will provide "Full-Spectrum Protection" in
the areas of electronic eavesdropping, wireless security, Electro-magnetic
Interference (EMI) and Electro-magnetic Pulse (EMP), blast hazard
control, solar energy rejection and UV protection.
This contract award further strengthens Dlubak's role as the leading
supplier of Transparent Armor Products: Ballistic, Blast Mitigation,
Security, and Tactical Glass for the Department of State's Overseas
Building Operations (OBO.) Dlubak is classified as a Small Business
HubZone contractor and also provides glazing systems for other DoD
requirements such as the Army Humvee and armored vehicle programs.
