Desert Glass Products, based in Las Vegas, has announced plans
to open a distribution center in Phoenix. According to a company
news release, the new facility will allow the company to more
than double its delivery capacity in Phoenix and provide a convenient
pickup location for customers in that area, as well as providing
a regular delivery service to the Tucson metropolitan area. The
company is planning a January 5, 2004, opening for the new center.
"Our success in the Phoenix area is dependent upon our
supplying the region's highest quality fabricated glass products
with constantly improving service," said Larry Jaynes, president.
"This expansion will ensure we will be able to continue that
success.
