Clarification: Responsible Party and Inspection Process No Longer
Valid Concering NFRC's CMA
Regarding the USGNN story from November 1, "Glaziers Speak Out: On the
NFRC's Efforts to Create an Energy and Certification Rating Program for Non-Residential
Construction," USGNN has learned that terminology used in the article has
been modified as part of the NFRC's CMA development.
The term "specifying authority" has replaced "responsible party"
and a "document trail audit" is being used now in lieu of "inspection
process."
