The New York area's Regional Alliance for Small Contractors named Thomas Chen, president of Crystal Window & Door Systems, as the association's 2004 Specialty Supplier of the Year. The award recognizes leading minority and women entrepreneurs in their fields that have grown their businesses and significantly improved their companies' competitive positions. This year's award was presented at the Regional Alliance's annual luncheon on October 14, 2004, at the New York Hilton in Manhattan.

"I am humbled to receive this honor from the Regional Alliance and my peers in the construction industry," said Chen. "Crystal has been involved with the Alliance for several years and we have definitely realized benefits from that relationship."
