Azon
USA, Inc., a manufacturer of Polyurethane thermal barrier chemical
and machinery, was recently awarded the American Architectural Manufacturers
Association (AAMA) 2006 Chairman's Award. Additionally, Azon president
and CEO David Mills was named the Aluminum Extruders Council (AEC)
2006 Volunteer of the Year.
Azon received AAMA's 2006 Chairman's Award at this year's 70th
Annual AAMA meeting, held in Marco Island, Florida in February.
The award is presented by the outgoing chairman of the board to
a single company that has demonstrated "outstanding commitment
and dedicated support of the Association and the industry"
during the chairman's two-year term. Vice President of Sales and
Marketing Jerry Schwabauer was on hand to accept the award on behalf
of Azon.
Azon has been an AAMA member since 1980, serving as organization
event sponsors and newsletter contributors for the Aluminum Materials
Council.
A little more than a month later, Azon president and CEO David
Mills was honored as the AEC 2006 Volunteer of the Year during the
Aluminum Extruders Council (AEC) 2007 Annual Meeting & Leadership
Conference. The award was part of the annual Volunteer Recognition
Ceremony held in conjunction with the celebrated Chairman's Ball
on March 24, 2007. Mills was awarded for his work with the Council's
Keep Aluminum Windows (KAW) program.
