Industrial Signs High-Profile Deals
Ashton Industrial has announced that two international companies
have picked up its FastTrak arising line: Africa Glass Industries
(AGI) and Nippon Sheet Glass.
The FastTrak line and high-speed washer that AGI purchased makes
it the first one supplied to the African continent, Ashton reports,
and will be housed in AGI's facility in Johannesburg.
Nippon Sheet Glass, which recently purchased Pilkington, has specified
a FastTrak system for its Tokyo plant. According to an Ashton announcement,
it will be combined with the HWPRO high-performance stainless steel
washer and automatic corner dubbing units. Pilkington had two Ashton
lines running prior to the acquisition.
