ASC Z97.1 Committee Announces Membership Drive and New Chairperson

The ANSI Accredited Standards Committee (ASC) for Z97.1, safety requirements for architectural glazing materials, will soon begin the next standard revision cycle. The first meeting will take place August 10 in Baltimore at the Sheraton BWI Airport Hotel. A call for membership has been issued as well, and industry participation is invited and encouraged. In other news, ASC has also announced a new chairperson. Kevin Olah of Guardian Industries will succeed Valerie Block of DuPont as the new chair, and will guide the committee through the next standard revision cycle.
