AluFlam and Vetrotech Saint-Gobain have partnered to create aluminum fire-rated doors and frames.

While aluminum is not traditionally used as a fire-resistant material, the new system features AluFlam's patented, insulated aluminum technology and Vetrotech Saint-Gobain's clear, fire-rated, laminated glass (SGG Swissflam/SGG Contraflam).

AluFlam says the system has been tested, approved and is available worldwide.
