Alliance Forged to Speed Delivery of Anti-Terrorism Products

B&B ARMR Corp., a subsidiary of Integrated Security Systems Inc. (ISSI), of Irving, Texas, has announced a strategic licensing agreement with Marburg, Germany-based Saelzer GmbH. The alliance is intended to accelerate the availability of B&B ARMR anti-terrorist crash gate and barrier technologies for high-security applications in Europe and Africa.

Under the agreement, Saelzer, a provider of blast-rated glass for building exteriors, will manufacture select crash gates and barriers to meet urgent market demands while also distributing the full line of Department of State-certified products to embassies, military bases, commercial buildings and refineries in African and European countries.

"Security is an emotion-driven business," said Ted Wlazlowski, executive vice president and chief operating officer for B&B ARMR. "Customers don't want to wait for these products and we understand this sense of urgency, given recent world events. Expediting production and delivery is a core initiative for B&B, which is why we forged a strategic relationship with Saelzer, a clear leader in delivering security solutions to world-class clients."
