AFG Glass Promotes Pockiak and Ross

AFG vice president John Stilwell, and Frank Davey, Executive vice-president of the fabrication division, have announced key management changes in the company's Canadian fabrication operations. Bill Pockiak has been named divisional manager for the province of Alberta. Pockiak has almost forty years of experience within the company.

Starting in Saskatchewan in 1966, he held several positions including general manager. In 1995 he was promoted to general manager for the Winnipeg distribution center. According to Stilwell, in his new role, Pockiak will be responsible for both the Edmonton and Calgary AFG glass distribution centers.

Gilbert Ross has been appointed to the position of general manager for the Winnipeg distribution center. With thirty-four years of experience within the Winnipeg operations, Ross has held a variety of positions. Davey added, "Gilbert's knowledge of this location will ensure the continuation of the success at the Winnipeg Centre."
