Tom Dougherty, vice president of primary glass has named Ben Edwards for AFG Glass and the news was announced in a company press release.

Edwards will be responsible for international benchmarking efforts and direct the process throughout AFG.

"The benchmarking process allows us to compare many operational systems and variables and determine those that result in the most favorable outcomes-making AFG a stronger company," Dougherty said.

Edwards' previous positions with the company include glass technologist, quality supervisor, quality manager, technical manager and production manager, the latter his most recent position before being named to his new post.
