ACI Distribution-Birmingham Teams with Technical Glass Products

ACI Distribution is pleased to announce that its Birmingham, Ala., location is the newest facility to team up with Technical Glass Products (TGP) to distribute fire-rated glazing materials in the South.

ACI Distribution in Birmingham is now a UL certified fabricator for the FireLite® family of products. FireLite products are made of clear and wireless ceramic glass that offers fire protection. The FireLite family of products includes: FireLite, FireLite Plus®, FireLite NT and FireLite IGU. According to ACI, the fire ratings on its products range from 20 to 90 minutes (3 hours in doors), and all the FireLite products pass the hose stream test. FireLite Plus and FireLite NT also offer high impact safety ratings (meeting CPSC 16CFR1201, Category II requirements).

The Birmingham facility is the fourth ACI location to team with TGP. ACI Distribution is a wholesale glass distributor and fabricator of architectural glass, architectural aluminum, and automotive replacement glass. ACI Distribution, a Vitro America company, has 40 locations throughout the U.S.
