Accurate Perforating has added a new member to its team, naming Brett Sprietler as its new continuous improvement engineer. Sprietler, who recently transitioned from the automotive industry to the metal fabrication industry, has a background in manufacturing operations.

Sprietler is a graduate of Southern Illinois University and has a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology – manufacturing specialization. After graduation he moved to the Chicago area and took a job as a quality engineer in the plastics injection molding industry. After a year in plastics, he transitioned to a career with Minuteman International, where he spent nearly 14 years, most recently as director of industrial engineering and quality management system coordinator.

More recently, Sprietler spent the last four years working for Northstar Aerospace as a continuous improvement engineer, and with the Chrysler Group as an industrial engineering supervisor on the Dodge Dart launch team.

In his new role, Sprietler’s key objectives will be to provide guidance at both Accurate Metal Fabricating and Accurate Perforating in their transition to lean manufacturing practices, focusing on process improvement and cost reduction efforts at both companies.
