YKK AP America announced the creation of two new positions. Mike
Gilbert is the new brand manager of ProTek, the company's hurricane
and blast mitigation line of commercial products, and David Warden
is the new brand manager of the company's recently launched enerGfacade
family of energy efficient fenestration products.
In their new strategic roles, Gilbert and Warden will focus on
product positioning as well as offer training and education in the
marketplace about the role of fenestration in the protection and
energy efficiency of the built environment.
"By creating these new strategic roles, we are further reinforcing
YKK AP's products and services in the hurricane, blast mitigation
and energy efficient product markets," says Oliver Stepe, senior
vice president of YKK AP America. "The new positions allow
us to better serve customers, architects and building owners in
understanding and making informed decisions in the increasingly
sophisticated aspects of building design, security and energy-efficiency.
