
Vitro America Announces New Hires and Promotion
in Leadership and Sales

Three industry glazing industry professionals--Bill White, Kirk
Johnson and Mike
Guarino--have moved into new positions with Vitro America.
White has been named national fabrication director, which is a
newly created position. This group includes fabrication and information
technology professionals dedicated to the creation of new procedures
and the implementation of practices in fabrication facilities. White
will also be responsible for evaluating and purchasing new equipment
for fabrication facilities. He has been with the company since 1978
in a variety of management positions. Most recently, White was the
Los Angeles-area manager.
Johnson has joined the company as Los Angeles area manager. He
will be responsible for locations in City of Industry, Calif., San
Diego, Las Vegas, Phoenix and Kapolei, Hawaii. Previously, Johnson
served as western region general manager for Arch Aluminum and Glass,
responsible for Arch's operations in four states. Johnson returns
to the company where he worked as western region director of sales
and marketing from 1997 to 2005.
Guarino has joined the sales team in Texas where he will be responsible
for the promotion of new architectural aluminum entrances, storefront
and curtainwall systems. Guarino has more than 25 years of experience
in the glass and glazing industry. Previously, he worked as contract
division manager for Thad Ziegler Glass and as an architectural
sales representative for YKK Architectural Products.
