Vitro Announces New U.S. Sales Team

Vitro Vidrio y Cristal, based in Monterrey, Mexico, has appointed Flat Glass Sales LLC of Okatie, S.C., as its representative in the territory East of the Rockies. Members of the sales group include Jim Charles, who served as director of sales and marketing for Vitro America before retiring in 2007, Jake Hall and Jim Charles III, and together have more than 115 years of experience in sales and marketing in the glass industry.

According to an announcement, the sales team will be responsible for selling and promoting Vitro's direct truckload sales of flat glass products to fabricators, distributors, and window manufacturers. The team will also be responsible for introducing and promoting the company's new products, including Pavia and Klare.
