Safety Training at Vitro America Pays Off in More
Ways than One
Ronnie Green, a production supervisor for Vitro America in Greensboro,
N.C., has been called a hero. Green saved the life of 2-month of
William Cediel when he found the baby in the bushes along the highway.
Green was driving to work recently when at about 7:30 p.m., he
saw a car sliding out of control and heading in his direction. According
to an article in the Greensboro News & Record, while
Green swerved off the right side of the road to avoid a collision,
the car slide the other direction into 4-feet of water. The driver
was Aimee Cediel, who Green found holding her 3-year-old daughter;
her son, William, was missing.
Green found the baby up the hill in some bushes. He carefully picked
him up, carried him to the road and performed CPR, for which he
received his certification through his job.
