Vistawall
Helps Complete Houston's Toyota Center Arena
Terrell, Texas-based
Vistawall recently supplied a curtainwall and glass entrances to
Houston's newest arena, the Toyota Center, where the Houston Rockets
and the city's hockey and WNBA teams will play. The architects on
the project were HOK Sport of Kansas City and Morris Architects
of Houston, who worked with general contractor Hunt Construction
Group of Indianapolis and glazing contractor Admiral Glass &
Mirror of Houston.
Vistawall used a customized version of its CW-250 system to create
the multispan, concave curtainwall, at the arena's main entrance,
which required a custom-designed splayed and tapered vertical mullion.
The company also provided its Custom Series 375 medium-stile entrances
for the Toyota Center.
