Viracon Names Dr. Charles Boyer Vice President of Research, Process & Product Development

Viracon has named Dr. Charles Boyer as its news vice president of research, process and product development. In his new role, Dr. Boyer will oversee the research and development and the coating development departments. He'll be working closely with these teams to both energize product development efforts and improve technologies utilized to support the company's customer-facing activities.

With a background in new product development and technology management, Charlie is uniquely positioned to champion our efforts to enhance the performance of architectural glass."

Dr. Boyer has 24 years of experience managing technology and new product development for a number of companies, including 3M. He has also lived and worked in Asia and obtained a number of U.S. Patents.
