Viracon Announces the Promotions of Garret Henson, Joe Effertz and Pat McDermott

OWATONNA, Minn. January 31, 2007 -- Viracon staff members Garret Henson, Joe Effertz, and Pat McDermott have all recently received promotions.

Henson was promoted to director of sales for Viracon. Prior, he was director of sales for Viracon's International and Domestic West Region. Henson's expanded role will include additional sales management responsibilities, and he will be responsible for all domestic sales west of the Mississippi River. Henson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from New Mexico State University.

Effertz has been promoted to director of international sales for Viracon. In this role, he will have sales responsibilities that also include Canada. Effertz has been with Viracon for seven years in sales and sales management roles. Previously, he was an international sales business development manager for Viracon. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business Management from the St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota. McDermott has been promoted to director of sales for the Southeast Region. He will have sales responsibilities from Indiana to Louisiana and from Virginia to Florida.

McDermott has been with Viracon for eight years serving in a number of key assignments, most recently as customer service manager. McDermott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Industrial Psychology from Mankato State University and an MBA in Finance from the University of St. Thomas.
