USGlass Releases New Magazine App
May 23, 2012

USGlass magazine, published by Key Communications Inc., has released its first mobile application into the Apple-owned iTunes Store as and Google Play for the Android marketplace. Available for the iPad, iPhone and Android devices, the App delivers the current issue of USGlass magazine as well as an archived history.

Interactive features include columnist videos, embedded audio clips from authors, and much more.

"We are delighted to have the opportunity to present our publication in yet another enhanced format for our readers," says Penny Stacey, editor of the publication.

"Now, the free App is available for smartphones and tablets and we wanted the most recent issue to demonstrate just a sampling of the enhanced media and news efforts readers can expect from USGlass," says Stacey.

"USGlass had digital editions available for the architectural glass industry starting back in 2007," says Holly Biller, vice president of media services for USGlass. "This is just the next step in progression. In fact, we wanted a few extra months to make it truly interactive."

"We've come a long way in that time and have continually raised the bar to provide the news in every medium our readers request it," says Biller. "The App unveils the next level of what we can provide to our readers and advertisers."

To download the App, simply search for USGlass magazine (keyword: USGlass). To learn more about the only publication devoted exclusively to the architectural glass industry, visit usglassmag.com or contact the Digital Media Services department of Key Communications Inc. at dms@glass.com.
