United States Aluminum Launches A Newly Redesigned
Website
United States Aluminum has announced the launch of a newly redesigned website
with the help of Enilon Group of Fort Worth, Texas. According to
the company, the website offers improved navigation, a brighter
contemporary appearance, an improved gallery section, an improved
interface for the product section and better overall communication
with the user.
The site includes updates to the catalog of more than 3000 CAD drawings
that represent the company's complete product line. The drawings
were used to produce Adobe PDF files at a 1:1 size ratio that can
be printed, a response to customer requests. In each product category
a column of related literature offers downloadable brochures, CSI
3 part specification, installation instructions and a complete family
of details in a single file.
Autodesk idrop® technology was used to allow access to all of
the CAD drawings available on the website. Autodesk i-drop®
technology provides the ability to drag-n-drop content from the
web straight into a drawing session.
The website redesign extends the relationship developed by United
States Aluminum with the Enilon Group that dates back to 1996 with
the development of the first United States Aluminum website. "Enilon
was the perfect choice to continue our web site improvements. Their
experience and knowledge of our products and industry enabled the
project to progress quickly", endorses Clark Folsom, Marketing
Manager for United States Aluminum.
