The Trustees of the Glaziers, Architectural Metal and Glass Workers Local Union No. 27 Welfare and Pension Funds has voluntarily dismissed its suit against Trainor Glass Co. The notice of voluntarily dismissal was filed on April 11 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division.

The plaintiff "dismisses this action against defendant, Trainor Glass Company, without prejudice pursuant to provisions of Rule 41(a) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure," the notice states. "In support thereof, plaintiff states: 1. This case was filed on February 28, 2012. 2. Defendant has not yet answered plaintiff's complaint. 3. Defendant not having answered, plaintiff may voluntarily dismiss the case without prejudice. Wherefore, plaintiffs give this notice, dismissing the case without prejudice."

The case was terminated the same day.

The union filed a complaint against Trainor Glass on February 28, alleging that the company owes them $2,931.72.

Trainor Glass filed for bankruptcy on March 9.

The company still faces other pending lawsuits brought by the Trustees of the Indiana State Council of Roofers Health and Welfare Fund and by a former employee.
