Glass Tabletops Appear in News Again

The breakage of glass tabletops continues to be an issue that appears in the consumer press. A Washington D.C. news station recently aired an investigation into spontaneous breakage of glass tabletops. CLICK HERE to see the video "Fox 5 Investigates: Glass Tabletops."

The Glass Association of North America (GANA) has begun discussion on a proposed ASTM standard for glass used in furniture, such as a coffee tables and tabletops at its annual meetings.
