Glass Industry Wins Super Bowl: Chicago Thunder Win National Championship in Semi-Pro League

The Chicago Thunder Minor League Football Team defeated the Central Ohio Lions by a score of 37-9 in Miami on January 13th to claim their first MLFN "AA" National Championship. The Thunder had previously won eight league championships and two mid-west regional championships.

The team is sponsored, managed and coached by employees from MTH Industries.

"We worked really hard these past several years to get here and I just can't tell you how proud I am of our entire team," said head coach Terry "T-Bone" Thomas.

Thomas directs the team with the help of his brother Kevin "Meat Hooks" Thomas and Raul "Too Cool" Lobo, also MTH employees.
