International Participates in Grand Designs Live in London
SmartGlass International recently completed a visit to the Grand
Designs live show in London's Docklands Excel.
Exhibiting two glass technologies at two stands, the company received
what it calls "impressive interest from the 50,000 visitors to the
show."
LC SmartGlass™ was used in the "House of the Future ... Today"
that had two large panels installed between the master bedroom and
shower room to offer privacy on demand. The Cedia organised stand
attracted crowds who could view a presentation where actors demonstrated
advanced home technologies including SmartGlass.
EC SmartGlass™ was used in association with Bartholomew Conservatories
where 14 large glass panels were installed in a bespoke contemporary
sunroom. EC SmartGlass™ allows users to darken windows and rooflights
to control light, heat, glare and privacy. This stand displayed
a full sized sunroom complete with EC SmartGlass™ windows, which
cycled from clear through 96 percent darkened states.
