Major Industries Announces New Appointment

Major Industries Inc. in Wausau, Wis., has promoted David Nyseth to director of sales, a position that will provide worldwidesales leadership for the company.

In his new expanded role, Nyseth will spearhead the company's commitment to increase the architectural promotion of its custom-engineered skylights and translucent curtainwall. He also will be responsible for the recruiting and training of a dedicated architectural sales staff chartered to assist architects and other specifiers in the correct application of the company's energy-efficient and environmentally friendly daylighting systems. In addition, Nyseth will take a lead role in the company's new initiative to build its international presence over the next three to five years. Nyseth has served as the company's national sales manager for the last 4 1/2 years.
