Explains Recent Acquisitions' Role in Commercial Glass Market
While attending the International Builders Show (IBS) this week
in Las Vegas USGNN.com contributing editor Tara Taffera met
up with Kevin Surace, president of Serious Building Materials.
The
company announced its acquisition of the assets residential window
manufacturer Kensington Windows earlier this week, and its intention
to produce commercial glass products in the facility (CLICK
HERE to read this story). Just last week Surace confirmed his
intention to acquire bankrupt Republic Windows & Doors (CLICK
HERE to read this story).
While at IBS, Surace explained how the recent acquisitions will
fit into the commercial glass market. He also noted that future
acquisitions are not out of the question.
"We continue to look at everything that's on the market today
so certainly we're looking at commercial glass businesses
as well," Surace said.
