Salem Distributing Company Named Carolinas Chapter ESOP Of The Year

North Carolina-based Salem Distributing Co. announced it was recently awarded the title of Carolinas Chapter Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) 2007 Company of the Year for the Carolinas Chapter of the National ESOP Association.

Now in its third year of 100-percent employee ownership, Salem Distributing is comprised of four business units including Salem Flat Glass, Salem Vision, Salem Advanced Surfacing Materials and Salem Stone.

Regional winners of the ESOP of the Year distinction are eligible for the National ESOP Association's National ESOP of the Year award, to be announced at the association's national conference in May.
