SAFTI FIRST Hires New Architectural Sales Representatives

SAFTI FIRST in San Francisco has announced the addition of three new sales reps to its team. The new additions are Tom Metz of Metz Enterprises Inc., Mark Gedney of Advanced Building Concepts Inc. and Chris Rogstad of Window Tech Inc.
Metz, who will focus on the Southern California (Greater Los Angeles) territory, has more than 40 years of experience in the glass and glazing industry. In 1984, he moved from Minneapolis to the Los Angeles area for Harmon Glass and then formed Metz Enterprises Inc. in 2003. In addition to SAFTI FIRST, Metz also represents Wausau Window and Wall, Systems, D&D Architectural Products, Luoma Contract and Wasco Skylights.
Gedney, whose territory includes Washington, D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia, has more than 26 years of experience in the glass and glazing industry, with 12 years as a manufacturer’s representative. In addition to SAFTI FIRST, Gedney also represents Wausau Window and Wall Systems, D&D Architectural Products, CPI Daylighting, Tecnoglass, Airolite Louvers and Grills, Pittco Architectural Metals, Custom Components Co., Vicwest and Champion Windows.
Chris Rogstad will focus on Washington, Oregon, Alaska and Idaho and has more than 35 years in the glass and glazing industry. In addition to SAFTI FIRST, Rogstad’s company also represents EFCO, Firestone Building Products, Hope’s Steel Windows, Ellison Balanced Doors, Crane Revolving Doors, Krieger Steel Doors, Dorma Glass, Sented, All-Lite Louvers, Kane Security Screens and Schott Specialty Glass.
