SCHOTT Distributors Receive UL Authorization to Process Pyran® Fire-Rated Glass Ceramics

SCHOTT North America Inc. has announced that its two distributors, Interedge Technologies and General Glass International (GGI), have both received Underwriters Laboratories (UL) authorization for processing SCHOTT Pyran brand fire-rated glass-ceramics. The authorization means that both companies are now authorized by UL to cut Pyran Crystal and Pyran Star and to label these products with the UL mark.

Both distributors deliver Pryan Crystal and Pyran Star ready for installation. Interedge Technologies is an AFG company and has facilities that process Pyran Crystal and Pyran Star in Fall River, Mass., and Hebron, Ohio. GGI processes Pyran fire-rated glass-ceramics in Seacucus, N.J.
