Manufacturers Rep David J. Rosenstein Passes Away

David J. Rosenstein, 74, formerly of Concord, Mass., and Woodbridge, Conn., died Friday January 28, 2011. For the past 30 years he served as a sales representative for Viracon in the northeast United States and Canada, and was recognized on several occasions with the company's Salesman of the Year award. He also represented W&W Glass LLC, Sota Glazing Inc., Crane Revolving Doors and Ellison Bronze.

“David will be tremendously missed at Viracon; he exuded cool class in every situation, was fiercely competitive and refused to give up. We lost a great friend with his passing,” says Garret Henson, director of Sales at Viracon. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.”

He was the father of Marc Rosenstein of Florida, Sarah R. Rosenstein and Sam J. Rosenstein, both of Concord, and the former husband of Maria Rosenstein of Concord. A funeral service is scheduled for February 1 at 2 pm at Congregation Beth Elohim, 133 Prospect St., Acton, Mass. Interment Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Concord, Mass.

Donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Tribute Program, P. O. Box 1000, Dep't. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142. Arrangements are under the care of Charles W. Dee and Susan M. Dee, Dee Funeral Home of Concord.
