RiteScreen Earns Safety Award for Excellence

The Safety Committee along with representatives from RiteScreen and J.T. Walker accepted the Governor's Award for Safety Excellence.

RiteScreen's Elizabethville, Pa., location has received the Governor's Award for Safety Excellence for 2009. According to a company announcement, RiteScreen was selected based on comprehensive safety programs with plans for continued improvement, teamwork, innovation and strategic development of safety policies, along with comprehensive accident and illness prevention programs and practices.

"Winners of the Governor's Award for Safety Excellence are dedicated to high standards in workplace safety and employee wellness," says Gov. Edward G. Rendell. "These companies have implemented safety strategies that reduce on-the-job injuries, increase productivity and sharpen their competitive edge in a global economy.
