A Look at Material Price Movement in 2008

ENR recently ran a report noting the price movement of construction materials, including glass and steel fabricated for buildings, in 2008. The company also predicted that in 2009 its Building Cost Index will post a 0.5-percent drop in 2009, as steel, lumber and cement prices fall, following this past year's 5.3-percent climb.
