Pilkington has introduced to the United States its Pyrodur 20-200, a clear fire-protection glass designed to meet the needs of the 20-minute fire protection market.
According to the company's announcement, Pyrodur blocks approximately 90 percent of radiant heat and stays in place during a fire to protect against smoke, flames and hot gasses. It has been tested and approved for CPSC CAT II human impact safety. The product can be used for interior or exterior applications and is available in a thickness of 0.39 inches.
