PPG Industries, headquartered in Pittsburgh, has published a data sheet for Solarban 60 Starphire, a new architectural glass that combines the transparency of Starphire ultra-clear glass with the energy-saving technology of Solarban 60 solar control coated glass.

The one-page document contains data for evaluating and specifying Solarban 60 Starphire glass, including performance characteristics for a standard insulating glass unit as well as a range of monolithic configurations. Performance characteristics are provided for visible light transmittance (VLT), visible light reflectance, U-values, K-values, shading coefficient, solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC) and light to solar gain ratio (LSG).
