Fanelli Retires, Two Promotions Announced at PPG

Mark Fanelli, director of sales, performance glazings, for Pittsburgh-based
PPG Industries, retired after 30 years with the company on June
1. During his career with PPG, Fanelli held a variety of leadership
roles in manufacturing, quality, marketing and sales. Most recently,
he led the development of the PPG Certified Fabricator Network.
In making the announcement, Gary R. Danowski, vice president, performance
glazings, praised Fanelli's "can-do" attitude and said
PPG would miss his "enthusiasm, ease of developing relationships,
command of details, sense of humor and dedication to PPG and its
Before becoming director of sales, performance glazings, Fanelli
served as director of new products, flat glass and director of production,
automotive OEM glass. He will be replaced by Mark Seeton, formerly
sales manager, performance glazings.
Prior to joining PPG in 2003 Seeton was the divisional sales manager
for Pella Corp. in Pittsburgh. He began his career at PPG as national
accounts manager, window and door.
Glenn Davis was appointed to Seeton's former post as sales manager,
performance glazings. He will be responsible for sales in the eastern
United States and for managing a residential insulating glass unit
fabrication facility in Allentown, Pa. Davis joined PPG in 1983
and was most recently director of sales leadership in the corporate
Seeton and Davis are both graduates of the Pennsylvania State University.
Seeton has a bachelor of science degree in marketing and Davis holds
a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering and a master of
business administration degree from Kent State University.
