PPG Faces Fire in Evansville, Approaches Fourth-Quarter Conference Call

Pittsburgh-PPG Industries made much news over the weekend, as the company suffered a fire at its plant in Evansville, Ill., as well announced that it would release its fourth-quarter results on January 17. On the coatings side, the company has donated a plane with custom pink coatings to Australian airline QantasLink in support of that company's breast cancer awareness campaign.
