Performance Glazings Promotes Three to National Architectural Managers
PPG Performance Glazings, formerly PPG Flat Glass, of Pittsburgh, has appointed
Darijo Babic, Bill Myers and Leonard Skelton as national architectural
managers. The three will lead promotional efforts in their individual
territories and assist architects in the selection and specification
of PPG glass, coatings and paint products represented under the
PPG IdeaScapes banner.
In this new post, Babic will work with building owners, developers,
architects, contractors and PPG Certified Fabricators in the Southeastern
United States. He will be based in Atlanta. A graduate of North
Carolina State University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering,
Babic has worked in quality control for PPG since 2001.
Myers, a 13-year PPG veteran, will concentrate his promotional and
sales efforts on the northeastern United States and Canada. He has
worked in a variety of PPG businesses including coatings and resins
research, automotive refinishes, flat glass and general industry.
Most recently, he was with the PPG architectural coatings division
in Pittsburgh. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland and
is a certified construction document technologist. He will be based
in Eastern Pennsylvania.
Skelton will head up PPG sales to the architectural and construction
markets in the Southwestern United States from Houston, where he
is currently president of the local chapter of the Construction
Specifiers Institute (CSI). He joined PPG in 2000 as an architectural/engineering
specialist and has advanced through various posts serving the architectural
market for PPG architectural finishes. Skelton also is a certified
construction document technologist.
