Barack Obama Visits Schott Optics Plant In Pennsylvania
Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, the Democratic nominee for president
of the United States, visited Schott Glass's optics plant in Duryea,
Pa., today. According to an article in the Scranton Times, Obama
spoke to his audience of more than 100 workers and other invited
guests for approximately 45 minutes today about his plans to boost
the U.S. economy and create manufacturing jobs such as those at
Schott. He finished with questions from the crowd.
