OSHA Issues Description for Construction Worker Fatality

The Occupational Safety & Health Administration has issued a preliminary description of an incident at the University of Iowa Boyd Law Building in Iowa City that killed construction worker Tom Fosdick, of Cedar Rapids, on August, 30.

The preliminary description of incident reads: Worker suffered fatal injuries while operating a reciprocating saw on a ladder, losing his balance and falling 24 feet to a concrete slab.

Fosdick was an employee of Swanson Glass Inc. in Iowa City, Iowa.
