Masonite Completes Acquisition of Marshfield DoorSystems Inc.

Masonite Inc. has completed its acquisition of Marshfield DoorSystems Inc., headquartered in Marshfield, Wis. Marshfield is a provider of doors and door components for commercial and architectural applications; its 2010 revenue exceeded $100 million dollars. No other financial details of the acquisition have been disclosed.

Marshfield employs approximately 600 people, with a primary facility in Marshfield and two smaller locations in Greensboro, N.C., and Largo, Fla.

"We are excited to complete this transaction and look forward to partnering with Marshfield's customers, suppliers and employees," says Fred Lynch, Masonite's president and chief executive officer. "Marshfield also provides an important additional platform of strategic growth for our company."

Says Don Bergman, Marshfield's CEO: "The combination of Marshfield and Masonite will provide great, new opportunities for our customers, employees and suppliers. We look forward to successfully integrating the two businesses."
