The AAMA/WDMA 2010/2011 U.S. Industry Statistical Review and Forecast is a compilation of statistical data from government and industry sources forecasting industry outlook. The Statistical Review contains review, summary and projections of residential, non-residential and remodeling trends.

According to the study’s data, in the nonresidential market contract awards reflect activity related to new construction and major additions to existing structures. The 2010 contract award total was down by 18 percent from 2009 as all nonresidential building construction sectors continued to feel the recessionary effects of the weak economy and high nonresidential vacancy rates. Contract awards are expected to rebound in 2010, with double-digit gains following in the subsequent three years through 2014. The nonresidential glazing market fell by 19 percent in 2010, and growth is expected to resume in 2012 and is forecast to increase by five percent over 2011 levels.
