Lancaster
appointed VP and General Manager at United Glass Corporation
United Glass Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment
of Kenneth L.
Lancaster as vice president and general manager of PDC Glass and
Metal Services in Cheswick, Pa., and PDC Glass of Michigan in Plymouth,
Mich.
In his new role, Lancaster will report to Larry O'Connell, chairperson
and chief executive officer of United Glass Corporation.
Prior to joining UGC, Lancaster was employed with Viracon where
he served as director of manufacturing for six years.
Lancaster has more than 16 years of experience in the glass industry,
holding senior management positions with J. E.
Berkowitz in New Jersey and Hoffer's Inc. in Wisconsin and Indiana.
He also held senior leadership roles in the metal fabrication industry
prior to joining Hoffer's in 1990.
"Lancaster's wealth of glass fabricating knowledge and experience,
plus his professional managerial style, makes him the right choice
for growing our Pittsburgh and Plymouth operations," said O'Connell.
