Dates Set for 2009 Finishing Forum Taking Place in
Las Vegas

The Painters and Allied Trades Labor Management Cooperation Initiative
(LMCI) have announced that its annual Finishing Industries Forum
will take place November 15-18, 2009 at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas.
A number of presentations and seminars are scheduled for the event.
For example, the Finishing Trades Institute will host a program
on advancing apprenticeship into the 21st century. This workshop
will demonstrate the changes to the federal guidelines to registered
apprenticeship programs.
ULLICO Casualty will present a workshop on risk and surety solutions
for contractors. It will discuss workers' compensation solutions
for contractors including the features and benefits of group captives.
The session will also discuss how to qualify for surety credit in
the current market conditions.
Another program will also focus on the newly updated LEED AP Standards.
From the new tier system of accreditation to the updated credits
available in v3, this session will discuss the latest changes and
inform attendees on how to move into the current system.
